Mission, Vision and Values


Mission Statement

The mission of Pathways, a Duval County charter high school operated by Florida State College at Jacksonville, is to provide academic, career and character development instruction for high school dropouts and students at high-risk of dropping out who have been referred to Pathways by the Duval County School District. Through intensive, innovative and focused secondary and postsecondary instruction as well as comprehensive case management services, Pathways Academy seeks to re-attract, motivate and engage students in a challenging and exciting whole-life educational environment.


Vision Statement

Pathways Academy will be recognized, at the state and national levels, as a leader in providing a comprehensive academic and personal enrichment program that allows the flexibility to take students through high school graduation, postsecondary education and gainful employment leading to a successful future.
