Admissions and Eligibility Requirements
The following are required for consideration for admission to Pathways Academy:
- A completed Pathways application (PDF).
- Completion and submission of all required paperwork.
- A Grade Level Equivalent (GLE) score of at least 9 in reading, 7 in mathematics, and 7 in language on the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE).
- No Class III or Class IV offenses in the school system.
- Class II offenses will be reviewed on a case by case basis.
- No felony convictions.
- Attendance at all required orientation sessions.
In addition, to remain eligible for continuation in the Pathways Program, each student admitted to Pathways must:
- Reapply and be accepted for admission each subsequent school year.
- Wear assigned Pathways shirts and identification badges at all times that the student is on campus.
- Meet regularly with an assigned mentor.
- Adhere to the Pathways Student Code of Conduct (PDF) and all Pathways and relevant College policies and procedures.
- Participate in the Jobs for America’s Graduates Program and service learning projects and activities.
